The VERY LAST Pair of Invader Zim Pants have been posted. This is the last pair that will ever be made. There is no more Invader Zim Fabric available in the entire world and It will never be released again. It is a very sad day…

I completely understand your your reservations on the price of the Invader Zim pants. It’s not just the price of the Invader Zim fabric that makes them that price. It’s the fact that it can not be purchased ever. You can Google it, ebay it, but the fact remains, there is no more and it will never be available for sale again. The Invader Zim fabric and it’s rarity is just one reason why the price is what it is.

Spydahunny is selling reflective raver pants without the discontinued fabrics for $240 to $280 and they are not one of a kind, they are mass produced and you will walk into a club and see 10 people with the same pants on, made by them. The Invader Zim pants I made are One of a Kind, You will never walk into a club and have anyone wearing your pants.

Not only that but these pants took almost 5 days to make. I used the best, most expensive materials, from the denim that is the base to the reflective tape to the thread, these are top of the line all the way and the costs are from my pocket. I think that if I scrutinize every detail, every aspect and foot the cost to make them, I should be able to charge what they are worth and they are worth every penny and then some. I also want to make my customers happy so I eat it on some of the costs, like my time which I personally feel is worth more then $6.00 an hour.

Trust me, I’m not getting rich on these, I’m just getting what they are worth and staying competitive with my competition. When I first started out 10 + years ago, there was about 8 other companies making handmade raver pants. Now in the USA there is just me. Everyone else is out of business b/c no one wants to pay for quality work. They would rather buy UFOs mass produced in China then support a hardworking American just trying to get by.

» So It’s Your First Rave

We all have had our first rave to go to and we have asked ourselves, what is this all about? What do I expect, what do I wear, how should I act? There was something or someone who got us to this point. Either it was a song we couldn’t get out of our heads or a friend who wanted us to join them on an adventure. No matter what the circumstance, you are about to go to your first rave and you don’t know exactly what to expect or how to roll. It’s all good! We all started out here and you can fret about not doing it right or being judged because your not “hip” with it” but the fact of the matter is that you are the master of your own fate and if you treat people right, you will be alright.

I have personally been going to raves for about 16 years now and I think the best advise I can give you is to be respectful. Not only respectful of the other people but also respect yourself. Go for the music. That’s what raves are, they are electronic music venues. The DJ’s work incredibly hard to entertain you, unite you and show you a new perspective. Don’t go to get laid, do drugs and make an ass out of yourself.

There is a reason that the ravers creed is “PLUR” or “PLURR”.

This stands for : Peace | Love | Unity | Respect | Responsibility

These are the values our underground community cherish and try to foster in our dealings with other ravers.

Once you go to a couple raves you will notice that you will start to understand the deeper meaning of these words and hopefully find your “raver family”.

So what to wear?

Wear sensible shoes! I can’t stress this enough! No high heels or crazy platforms that you are going to break an ankle in dancing! Sneakers/Tennis Shoes are the best foot wear for raves as you are going to be dancing.. a lot.

Think about the type of venue you are going to. Is it going to be inside or outside, is it going to be in the middle of winter or summer. Remember that like any other event, you need to dress appropriately for the weather and venue type. Use common sense when making your wardrobe decisions.

Wear clothing that will let you move freely. There’s nothing worse then trying to dance in uncomfortable clothing.

Guys find that wearing phat pants and a funky TShirt allows them to shuffle/dance more easily. As apposed to tight fitting pants and muscle shirts.

Girls, you have tons of great options when it comes to rave attire. You can kick it old school in phat pants and a cute Tee. Or you can go for the New School route with Fluffies, a Mini Skirt or Booty Shorts and a crop top or bikini top.

Remember Originality is the key here! Raves are a way to express your truest self. Show the world how unique and imaginative you can be. Making your own outfits or buying handmade one of a kind items help you stand out in the crowd and get noticed. It’s also a great ice breaker and super way to meet new friends.

One of the main reasons I started my business was because I always met so many incredible people just b/c I had made my outfit from scratch. It was a wonderful feeling meeting like minded people who dug what I made and inspired me to share my creations with my “rave family” and allow them to experience that same great feeling of originality and uniqueness.

Like I said before, you should be going to your first rave because of the MUSIC! Not the Drugs, Not the Sex, yadda yadda yadda…

Hey, I don’t judge anyone, ever. I’m not going to lie to you either. I’ve raved on drugs and I’ve gone to raves completely sober. Either way, I had a brilliant time. If you choose to do drugs, I suggest doing it responsibly. Click here and read about being a responsible raver.

My only comment on sex is it’s your business. Might I suggest though, that you use protection as not to catch something or get knocked up.

Honestly, I’m sure someone has had the same question as you and I’m sure you will find the answer fairly quickly.

Yay! I get so giddy when I make new Care Bears items and this new Corset Top has me dancing around like a fool, giddy as can be. You will be doing the giddy goofy dance too when you get your hands on this incredible piece. The front features Cheer Bear waving happily at you and your friends. The side panels have all the old school Care Bears painting Rainbows in the clouds and the middle panels say “Happy Day”! This is by no means all of the rave pants I’ve made, it’s just a small selection of some of my favorites. I’ve been making phat pants for about 15 years now and selling them for over 10 years.

I get asked all the time if I actually wear phat pants and the answer is YES! I also get asked if I go to raves and the answer is YES! I have been going to raves for about 16 years now and I still love the music and adore the people I meet while I’m out.

The song in the video was made by a long time friend DJ Iguana and he gave me permission to use it.

Some common questions and answers below:

Question : What types of fabric should I use to make my phat pants?

Answer : There are many types of fabric that can be used. I like using medium & light weight cottons. Another fav or mine is denim. It really depends on what you prefer though. When you go fabric shopping looking isn’t everything, I have to feel fabric before I’m sold on it. Fabric that is soft and tightly woven tend to make great pants. If you are adding the plastic type reflective trim, you have to remember that the fabric shouldn’t be to thin. You would use a fabric that matches the weight of the trim.

Another thing you want to take into consideration is the event you are making your phat pants for. If you know you are going to be outside and it’s going to be hot, you will want to use a light weight fabric like cotton. Nylon or nylon blends tend to trap the heat and will make you feel like you have a swamp in your pants. If you are going to be in a cold environment , you will want something that will keep you warm, yet be able to breath so you don’t over heat while dancing.

Question : Where do you get reflective trim?

Answer : I shop around all the time trying to get a good deal. Most of the time I use ebay. There are many sellers on ebay that combine shipping and you get a decent deal. Since the sellers change all the time, I recommend looking frequently and saving the seller once you have found one you trust.
